Cabo San Lucas: Luxury Resorts And Incredible Nightlife

When considering a trip to Mexico, there are a few destinations that immediately come to mind. The popular, yet bustling city of Cabo San Lucas makes most travelers’ short lists. Its attractions include ritzy golf course resorts surrounded by the clear blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and a variety of beachfront bars and restaurants with live music  that can be found in most areas of the city.

Cabo San Lucas is a port city located in the southern part of the Baja Peninsula, Mexico. It marks the upper end of the Gulf of California and is considered one of the most luxurious cruise ports in Mexico. The city has its share of historic buildings and monuments, but is also associated with exorbitant spring break parties and luxury resorts. Cabo is visited by millions of American, European, Canadian, and Australian visitors every year who come to experience its resorts, incredible wildlife, and frat-party atmosphere.

San José Del Cabo: The Little Sister Of Cabo

San José del Cabo has all its own charm, although it is sometimes referred to as the “sister town” of Cabo San Lucas. The city has a sophisticated, European feel about it with its splashing fountains, boutique hotels and fine restaurants. San José del Cabo is often the choice of those wishing to avoid the busier scene in Cabo San Lucas.

The tranquil fishing village is a great option for those travelers who love simple pleasures, including spectacular sunsets, stunning beaches and charming art galleries. While these characteristics attract many, San José del Cabo is also a much smaller town that has fewer choices when it comes to restaurants, hotels and activities compared to Cabo San Lucas.

  • authentic Mexican (of course!);

  • Italian;

  • French

  • Thai;

  • Mediterranean;

  • American;

  • Brazilian;

  • Cantonese, and so much more.

From restaurant and bar hopping, to karaoke and even lounging by the pool at a club that’s open until 5 AM—there’s something for everyone.
