Supporting Charities
This week, Los Cabos celebrated a historic milestone with the grand opening of the Teletón Children’s Rehabilitation and Inclusion Center (CRIT) in San José del Cabo. This is CRIT number 27 in Mexico and the second in Baja California Sur, joining the existing center in La Paz to serve children and families much closer to home.
The new CRIT Los Cabos will provide specialized pediatric rehabilitation for children with neuromusculoskeletal disabilities, Down syndrome, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, and rare conditions, offering comprehensive care that includes the entire family and focuses on inclusion, independence, and quality of life. 
The inauguration on November 25, 2025 brought together federal, state, and municipal authorities, along with Fundación Teletón, El Dorado & Chileno Bay Foundation, Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, the Alianza Comunitaria de Los Cabos, business leaders, and community partners. For many of them, this was the fulfillment of a 17-year dream to bring a CRIT to Los Cabos—made possible through the generosity and perseverance of countless donors and volunteers. 
Leaders such as Fernando Landeros (president and founder of Fundación Teletón), Governor Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío, Mayor Christian Agúndez, Emilio Azcárraga of Grupo Televisa, and representatives from El Dorado & Chileno Bay Foundation and Los Cabos Children’s Foundation were among those who helped make this vision a reality and were present to celebrate the opening. 
For us at Oceanside Real Estate Group, it has been an honor to be part of this journey and the opening celebrations. We were privileged to contribute $10,000 USD toward the funds raised to build this facility and support a project that will transform the lives of hundreds of children and their families in Los Cabos every year. Being able to stand alongside so many generous individuals, families, and organizations—and to see this dream finally opened as a living, breathing reality—has been a true life achievement for many in our community, and we are grateful to have played a small part in it.
