Winter is the prime season for whale watching in Los Cabos. Visitors can take a whale-watching tour to witness these majestic creatures up close in their natural habitat.
There are several festivals and events that take place in Cabo during May and June, such as the annual Festival de Paellas, Cabo Jazz Fest, and the San Jose del Cabo Music Festival.
San Jose Jazz Weekend is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a special edition by showcasing a diverse array of local and international talent. Due to the lower demand during the shoulder season, you may be able to find better deals and availability in accommodations, activities, events, and tours in Cabo.
It is said that the best time to fish around Cabo is from May through November, especially if you are looking for sailfish, jack crevalle, yellow grouper, mahi mahi, yellowfin tuna, and marlin. Through this season you will find the richest combination of fish abundance.
