Licensed US Broker / Sales Agent
Renee is a graduate of the University of California Riverside class of 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration. She obtained her California real estate brokers license soon after graduating and has maintained her license along with the continued education requirements for 20 years. Prior to moving to Mexico, she had an established career as a Mortgage Broker in Santa Barbara with former experience working for a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser, and for Plaza Development Partners, one of the largest Real Estate Developers in Ventura County. Some of the projects she worked on include River Park in Oxnard and the downtown Oxnard redevelopment in Southern California.
In 2004 Renee visited Cabo San Lucas for the first time on a family vacation and fell in love with the location, culture, and the lifestyle. In 2006, she made the move to Cabo and became a pioneer as a Mexican Mortgage Broker and introduced some of Mexico’s first cross border lending programs for US and Canadian Citizens. She helped bring mortgages to Mexico and educate the Real estate community on how to help their clients finance their dream homes. This background provided Renee with valuable experience in learning the intricacies of the Mexican Real Estate closing process collaborating with banks and closing attorneys.
In 2010 Renee was recruited for a position as the sales operations manager to oversee the administrative office, budget, marketing, sales transactions and closing process working directly for the Developer at Hacienda Beach Club & Residences which was owned by Starwood Capital. In 2014 she transitioned into the position of sales manager and became a top producing sales executive averaging 30 million in sales volume per year. In 2016 Renee was instrumental in the Hacienda phase 2 presale launch of 1 Homes Preview with success in selling over 80% of the inventory in preconstruction sales.
In 2017 Renee and her husband Dennis Fleming started the brokerage Oceanside Real Estate. They saw an opportunity in the market for a luxury real estate company to redefine the client experience through education and unparalleled service putting the needs of the client above all else while maintaining a code of ethics and their client’s peace of mind. Renee strives to create a smooth transaction for her clients to put the buyer or seller at ease. With over 15 years in Mexico real estate and closing over 200 million in total sales volume, Renee’s knowledge in this industry is an asset to her clients who benefit from years of her experience. Renee and Dennis also own the Old Town Art Gallery and Arch Cabo Luxury Rentals & Property management to offer a seamless turnkey experience for all their clients real estate endeavors.
Renee met her husband in Cabo and they got married on Medano beach in 2009. Today they have 4 children, Leila, Briella, David, and Emily who were all born in Los Cabos. Renee enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, baking, cooking, singing, reading, golfing, spending time at the beach and traveling.
