The CRIT (Centro de Rehabilitación Infantil Teletón) will be the second one in Baja California Sur, and promises to transform the lives of thousands of children with disabilities in the region. It will offer comprehensive rehabilitation services including physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as psychological and social support for patients and their families.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on July 5, 2024, and the new center will have the capacity to serve 350 families, with the goal of providing services to 500 people each year. The construction of CRIT Los Cabos is an important achievement that reflects Teleton’s and local organizations’ commitment to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities in the area. At Oceanside Real Estate Group, we are excited to participate in the social development of Los Cabos and see how our donations to organizations like Corazon de Niño, A.C., and Los Cabos Children’s Foundation A.C. are making a real difference. In 2023, we donated $20,000 to Corazón de Niño and $10,000 to Los Cabos Children’s Foundation, organizations that are working hard to improve the lives of children with disabilities in our community.
Witnessing the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Teleton CRIT in Los Cabos is extremely gratifying. This rehabilitation center will have a transformative impact on hundreds of families by providing therapy in a wide range for social development and support. Initiatives like the Teleton CRIT not only transforms lives. We are proud to be part of this effort and look forward to continuing to support the development of our region in the future. This center will be an invaluable resource for children with disabilities and their families in Baja California Sur.
My wife Renée and I are especially excited to see the community coming together to support children with disabilities. It is wonderful to see how the collaboration between Teleton, Los Cabos Children’s Foundation and El Dorado & Chileno Bay Foundations is making this project a reality, and I am sure that the new CRIT will be an invaluable resource for the region.
