Why Choose to Live in Cabo?
The simple answer…it’s awesome!
For me, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to live full time in Los Cabos since 2008 and I would like to share some of my personal experiences, so you know why I choose to make Cabo my home. After traveling on vacation to Cabo almost every year since 1999, I fell in love with the lifestyle, the people, and the natural beauty of Baja where the desert meets the sea. What initially got me thinking about moving to Cabo was meeting several ex-pats who made the decision and that got me interested, everyone I met was genuinely happy and loved Cabo. They all told me the same thing…the quality of life is superior and affordable. In Cabo, they have a saying “NO BAD DAYS”. I was impressed with the lifestyle, and I wanted it too. After moving from Sacramento to Cabo that is where my greatest adventure began.
I have seen Los Cabos evolve immensely over the years, and when people come back years later, they are blown away with the amount of growth. From new grocery stores, Hotels, Residential Developments, activities, events, restaurants and with so much happening in Cabo people are shocked that there is so much to do. This is an exciting time for our resilient small tourist town with the Real Estate market bouncing back from the financial correction of 2008 and the most horrific Hurricane ever recorded in the History of Los Cabos. The Baby Boomers primary market here is between $300,000 and $900,000 USD and now with a strong US Dollar the economy is robust with more expats wanting to own a little piece of Paradise.
Today, I still love seeing people experience Cabo for the first time because it reminds me of my first time our family went to Lover’s beach and we had our picture taken under the arch. With over 13 Trillion now invested in Los Cabos, there is more to explore for the entire family to enjoy. When you visit Los Cabos, I encourage you to create your own experiences and memories that will last forever.
